Playa Hermosa is a wide, palm-fringed beach of golden sand located around 10 kilometres south of San Juan del Sur. It is less crowded than other beaches in the area, making it a perfect place to relax in a peaceful setting. Playa Hermosa is also an excellent surfing spot, with gentler waves ideal for beginners. You can also practise yoga, paddleboard or simply enjoy a lazy day by the water.
