La Flor Nature Reserve is a sanctuary for sea turtles, located around 20 kilometres south of San Juan del Sur. Between July and December, thousands of turtles come to lay their eggs on the beaches of La Flor. You can take part in a guided nocturnal tour to observe this impressive natural spectacle. This unique experience allows you to see these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat, while learning about local conservation efforts.
